What Clean Core Looks Like in Practice
What’s New for 2026?
From ideas that matter to building things that matter.
In 2025, the conversation was about ideas that matter: AI possibilities, transformation plans, Clean Core strategies and what organisations intended to do next.
In 2026, the focus moves to building things that matter. Projects have matured. AI is moving into production. Organisations have another year of experience behind them. And the official 2026 SAP TechEd curriculum reflects a technology landscape moving rapidly from intent to execution.
If you joined us last year, this is the next chapter.
The Organisations Are Back. Their Stories Have Moved On.
Several organisations from 2025 are returning, with another year of experience and entirely new stories to share. They’ve had time to live with their decisions, build on the original work, find out what scales and understand what they would approach differently today.
AI Has Moved From Possibility to Practice
AI was already a major conversation in 2025. This year, more of that conversation is grounded in real processes, real teams and real SAP environments.

The session explores the wider challenge of putting an AI agent into a live finance process, including human oversight, accountability and controls.
Hear what changed when Joule for Consultants moved beyond a pilot and into everyday SAP project delivery.
See how an emailed PDF moves through AI-powered data extraction, human review and into S/4HANA — then where AI genuinely improves testing, where it doesn't, and why the foundations still matter.
More Mature Conversations. Including the Difficult Ones.
Mastering SAP has always created space for candid conversations about what happens in practice. That includes what worked, what didn’t, what teams discovered along the way and where experience challenged the conventional recommendation.

These sessions bring the lessons, complexity and trade-offs of real SAP environments into the room.
Be Part of the Conversation
What’s On Your Mind? creates space for open, peer-led discussion around issues SAP customers are actively working through. There are no slides or formal presentations. Attendees bring their questions, a facilitator guides the discussion, and people in the room share their experiences and perspectives.
The same peer exchange continues throughout the event, with networking time built into the programme for attendees to compare experiences, make connections and continue conversations outside the session rooms.
The 2026 SAP TechEd Curriculum Has Moved Forward Too
As the official SAP TechEd on Tour stop for APAC, the event brings the 2026 SAP TechEd curriculum to Sydney. This year’s curriculum reflects the movement from ideas into execution.

New Voices. Different Perspectives.
The programme also brings in organisations that weren’t part of the Sydney programme last year, including:
They bring different industries, different stages of transformation and new experiences into the community. Meet them across the agenda and the speaker line-up.
The Biggest Change Is Where the SAP Community Is in the Conversation.
Over the past twelve months, ideas have moved into implementation, AI has moved further into production, and transformation programmes have matured enough for organisations to reflect on what worked, what didn’t and what they understand differently today.
SAP’s technology has moved forward too, bringing new conversations around autonomous processes, Joule and AI agents, governance, Business Data Cloud and how to build securely and at scale. The programme reflects that progress, while creating more opportunities to ask questions, compare experiences and learn directly from peers working through similar challenges.
In 2025, it was about ideas that matter.
In 2026, it’s about building things that matter.
