As one of Australasia’s largest beverage companies, Lion supports 155 brands across 19 sites in Australia and New Zealand. At that scale, targeted improvements to everyday finance processes can make a meaningful difference.

Tess George and Patrick Bulseco will share three recent efficiency initiatives delivered by Lion’s Finance Services team. The first introduced P2P two-way-match automation using SAP S/4HANA and OpenText VIM. The second used robotic process automation on SAP BTP to automate FI debit and credit processing. The third introduced mobile-enabled Finance Park and Post approvals.

Tess and Patrick will explore the problems the team set out to solve, where automation and mobility were applied, and what Lion learned about introducing new processes into day-to-day finance operations.
