About this session

For many finance teams, S/4HANA remains a significant, multi-year transformation. But growing transaction volumes, complex system landscapes and critical reporting deadlines cannot be put on hold while the future ERP environment takes shape.

While still operating on SAP ECC, IAG developed an in-house solution connecting its core operational systems with SAP FS-CD. This created an almost fully automated flow from policy and billing activity through to financial processing. Now operating as a strategic production solution, it can process millions of item-level records in approximately 30 minutes while supporting gross written premium reporting and automated reinsurance processes.

Beyond the technology, this session examines a question facing many SAP finance teams: what can deliver value now, and what genuinely needs to wait for S/4HANA? IAG will share how it improved the performance of its existing environment, automated high-volume financial processing and addressed immediate business requirements without waiting for a future ERP transformation.
